About us
Lengyel Design is an office for product design in Essen. It was founded in 1995 by Gabor Lengyel, designer and engineer.
We work in the fields of industrial design, product design and strategic design. Our focus is on consumer electronics, kitchen appliances and smart home. Other product areas are seating furniture, street furniture, machine tools, packaging and 3D corporate design in cooperation with corporate design agencies.
Lengyel Design's clients include companies such as: 3M (USA), Alcatel-Lucent, Berker*, Deutsche Post DHL, Dormakaba*, Gira, ESE World, Esslinger Group, Haier, Insta, Jahn (USA), Jung, Mabeg Leitsysteme, Mauser Sitzkultur*, Mercedes-Benz, PetroChina, Postbank, Schütte. We work on intercultural and interdisciplinary projects worldwide.

Gabor Lengyel worked as a member of the Board at frog design (today frog, part of Capgemini Invent) for clients such as Alpine Electronics, Allibert-Jardin, AT&T, BMW, Fissler, Gazzoni, Head, Hilti, Jado / Ideal Standard, KaVo, König+Neurath, Qiagen, Revox, Rosenthal, Siemens, Swatch, Texas Instruments and Villeroy&Boch.
